Common Questions
55+ Communities: Common Questions
Do Summerset, Trilogy and Rossmoor all have the same HOA structure?
No. Summerset is actually four separate associations (Summerset I, II, III and IV), each with its own board and dues. Trilogy’s dues and any transfer fees vary by home and change at renewal. Rossmoor is governed as 23 separate Mutual corporations, each with its own assessment. Amanda pulls the current figures for a specific home rather than quoting one number for a whole community.
Is Summerset, Trilogy or Rossmoor assisted living?
No. All three are independent-living, age-restricted communities, not continuing care or skilled nursing, despite sometimes appearing on senior-living directories alongside those options.
Is there a golf course inside these communities?
It depends on the community. Trilogy residents play at the 27-hole Brentwood Golf Club down the road rather than a course inside the gates. Rossmoor has 27 holes across two courses on-site. Summerset offers nearby golf course options rather than a course within the community itself.
